These are the costumes I have made for Daniel's class to wear in the Spring Program. They are just plain side less pullovers that have been painted to look like the American flag. The trunk of them is made of simple white broad cloth and the neck is stretch cotton. I was given accent paint to do all the painting with so I made the choice to sponge the paint on so that they would not be too stiff, I usually incorporate fabric medium for softness when I paint clothing but I had no clue how it would react to the paint I had.
One costume is not shown it is an extra of the top row of stripes, I did not put it in these pictures because I wanted the full symmetrical effect!
