Almost Christmas Dress

New Look 6748 I started this dress right before Christmas but I just could not finish in time so it got to be my new years dress. It seen no parties but this dress for some reasion makes me feel good, maybe because it is my first winter dress to make.

The only thing I don't like about corduroy  is it is messy to sew.

Green Dress with Orange Flowers

NewLook 6586B  This dress has to be stepped into to put it on, so I  could not put it on my dress form with out help. Please excuse the setup it is hanging from on of my flower pots, and it seems to be hanging at an angle from a breeze going on. I chose to change the back and make it expose a 1/2 inch strip all the down to my lower back. I thought the button loops were a nice touch.
